According to the custom, every last night of the week the living meet to observe the sky for several hours continuously. This practice serves as a bridge of communication with the world beyond, so 52 nights a year, the residents gather in a clearing outside the village and without speaking gaze at the night sky. It's a kind of meditation, where a channel of communication with the Universe opens up.
